What a weekend

I went and saw Avatar in 3D at the IMAX theater at Jordan Commons. It was amazing. It was a long movie, but the effects were very good. I don't know if i could see it as a regular movie after seeing it on 3D. It was 3 hours long, my butt and back could feel that it was getting long.

Saturday I woke up and I felt miserable. I had the worst bodyaches and headache. My nose and throat were starting to hurt. I knew I had caught the cold. I didn't want to do anything but lay in bed. So that's what I did. I was lazy and slept.

Sunday I did the same thing except I went to Walmart to attempt to get my Ambien and anti-depressant from Wal-mart but they decided to lose my prescription from last month. So with me not feeling well, I had Tammy with me and even Tammy got frustrated because they were not listening so I got the region manager of the pharmacy number to call her and complain.

Monday I did not feel good so I didn't go to work. I officially got hit with the cold. I felt like I was flying whenever i went to move. I was so dizzy, my nose is now stuffed up, my body aches, I'm now coughing a little. The sneezing has now started.. Not to mention, I can't sleep! I moved from couch to couch to bed all day because i couldn't get comfortable. I got food in me and all of a sudden..... My back tooth broke off.

Today I went to work still flying high as a kite, making sure I was holding onto walls when I was walking so I wouldn't fall over. Got my work done. Came home and got in the tub to get warm because I was so cold! When I get out my left eye is starting to hurt. I rubbed it.. it KILLED! I soon can't see out of it, it's all blurry and BRIGHT red. Now I have stringy infection stuff coming out of it. I think I have pink eye! What else could go wrong!!!

So Thursday I go to the dentist to Dr Jeff Johnson to get my tooth fixed. I don't know if I should go have my eye checked out (what do you think Dr Barrett) The stringy stuff is from 1 corner of the eye to the other corner of the eye and the eye hurts SOOOO bad. .. I think I'm falling apart..

There is my pity party for the week....so to make me feel better.. I made myself fudge brownies! :)

WHAT A DAY!!! (it wasn't a total wreck!) :)

I had so many things on my "to-do" list today. I started out by going to a Halloween store. I am looking for a good costume. I won the costume competition last year at Myriad so I at least have to dress up! I don't know if I will be able to win this year, last years was pretty good. If you wana see a pic, I will post it. I was a plumber and it was good! I won HANDS DOWN!! There is this Halloween USA store on State Street, it is HUGE and full of Halloween stuff. I mean, ISLES AND ISLES of costumes. So many to choose from I couldn't decide. So I left because mom and dad were coming up for a little family party for Kayden and Koy. I went to Wal-Mart to get some tape and scissors so I could wrap the gifts and to refill my prescriptions. That place was PACKED! I could NOT find a parking spot. I got my stuff and I was on my way to pick up the cake from Smiths. Got to the stop light, it was red. So I stopped and this old man behind me just rear-ended me. My head jerked back and hit the headrest (thank goodness we have headrests). I hurry and put on my hazard lights. The girl in the car in front of me jumped out of her car and I asked her if my car had hit hers, she said no but she saw in her rearview mirror what happened and she could tell by my head that I had got hit. The amazing part was that NOTHING happened to my car. The old man said that he saw me stop so he put on his brakes but he started sliding (it's been rainy and snowy on and off all day). The cops came and did their job. It is like his car just bounced off my car. My head has been hurting since with a headache and I can tell I have sore muscles in my back, but I think it just scared me more then anything. My parents were on their way, so they were able to come to where it was. (The girl in front of me called the cops while I called my dad! :))

We had a good birthday party for the boys. Kayden and Koy loved the trucks that mom and dad got them (it was a big semi that holds cars like they got Max). That is a HUGE hit with Koy, he just sits on the truck and rides around. Kayden LOVED the GREEN power ranger that he got from mom and dad. I got a pretty cool cake for them. It was a Transformer Optimus Prime cake. I have a picture on my camera (and Tammy and mom got a picture).. Kayden just sat there "That cake is AWESOME!" Then we went to McDonalds and had lunch. We did it the opposite, had dessert THEN lunch :)!

It has been really cold today. It seems like we totally forgot fall and went from Summer to Winter. It went from 60 degrees to now 35 degrees (i think that it was it is right now).. It is totally Utah weather today, the sun will come out then 10 minutes later it will be freezing! Don't you all just love Utah weather..

Well, that was the enjoyment of my day... Now I am going to go curl up and find something on tv. I never did finish getting my errands done today (prescriptions are filled at Walmart I just have to pick them up). I just love not having time to do everything that I need to do. BUT, a good finish to the day... I GOT MY COMPUTER BACK!!!! YAY!!!!!

I am still alive!

I know it is has been a while since I wrote last.. I am STILL trying to get over this sickness. I don't know what it is! I had that ear infection. I took the 15 days worth of antibiotics that the drs gave me and it still didn't go away. I didn't feel AS bad but I just wasn't feeling myself.

This last weekend I went down to EC. It was nice to get away. It has been a while since I have been down there (since Christmas). I got down there Saturday afternoon. It was a much needed break. I stayed until Tuesday afternoon. Dad had surgery Monday, so I stuck around and helped out. I froze with mom in the hospital. We were joking around saying that the hospital created their own patients because they were causing us hypothermia. I went out to the explorer and got the John Deere blankets that we always keep out there and we tried to get warm by that and we both had our hoodies on to keep our heads warm. After our pager went off saying dad was out of surgery, we went back into SDS, the nice nurse back there gave us both a heated blanket from the warming machine. It was just a long day since dad had to be there at 9 and they didn't get him in to surgery until about 1:30. So when he came out, he was sick. Not from the anesthesia, but from hunger! We got him home about 8:30, and I ran over to Food Ranch and him food. After this surgery, he didn't want Oreos, he wanted Tapioca Pudding!!

Tuesday morning, I went down to the EC clinic and had Dr Lowell check out my ears again because they were started to hurt really bad again. He said there was nothing in them. He did a little culture thing and it came out fine. He said that he thinks there is some kind of fungus in my ear causing the pain. He gave me eardrops that would numb them and they have worked. As the week has gone on, I kept getting more sick. Now I have a really bad cough and congestion along with this earache. I went to the dr's office right down the road from my house. They got me right in. By this time, I have been up coughing for 2 nights, my throat hurts to swallow, my ears hurt, my head is pounding, and I am really congested. Dr Carol Cheney looked in my ears and once again said nothing is in my ears. Looked in my throat and said that it was really red. I was not able to get a flu shot when they offered it at my work because I had a spinal tap that day. So she did an influenza test and a rapid strept test, both came back negative. But the "fungal" infection has turned into a viral and has now made me feel awful! So now I'm back to square 1 feeling really sick! So for 1 full month, I have been really sick and with no answers!!! I have been drinking lots of water and taking lots of cold medication (treating the symptoms) because thats all they can do with a viral infection..

Well, I hope everyone else stays away from this sickness.. it is not fun!!! I will talk to you guys later!
