That's right... Growing up, the first week of school always meant more family birthdays. We always had a family birthday party for Nancy, Todd, Grandma Olsen and we never forgot to remember Grandma Nell. This year, the Olsen family is having their family reunion this weekend but I am not able to go down. I am going on a much needed vacation down to Nancy's. Not sure if helping them move is what you call a vacation :) but getting away from the stress up here is going to be a vacation for me! :) I did call Nancy this morning and tell her Happy Birthday and to enjoy her last year in her 20's, man she is getting OLD! But I told her to always remember, Tammy and Barrett are always a year older and that makes mom and dad ANCIENT! :)
First, Happy Birthday to my older sister Nancy. You have been there for me a lot lately and I know you have nothing better to do then to talk to me on the phone! :) I can't wait to come down and see you guys in a few days. I know this a bad picture of you, but I just love how you are with Ty. He's my little Bubba!
I hope that Todd had a great birthday too. I was thinking of him on his birthday and how him and Grandma Nell always share a birthday. And whenever I think about Grandma Olsen, a few memories always come to mind. Either her sitting in her little rocking chair looking out the window waiting for someone to come say hi or her in her little hat. And now, Aunt Barbara looks just like her when she wears her hat.
Happy Birthday Todd! Now don't everyone be jealous of how cute we are! This is me, Chelsie and Todd.. (who knows how old we are, but boy.. we are CUTE!)
This is my dear sweet Grandma Olsen. Happy Birthday to her on the 28th!
And last but not forgotten, my beautiful Grandma Nell! Happy birthday to her on the 25th.

Trust no one!
That is the hard lesson I have had to learn this week. It all happened when I put my guard down and thought "friends" can be trusted, well that isn't true. Once again, I now have anxiety issues and trust issues. This past Tuesday night, I had friends over helping me move my broken tv downstairs and this friend of a friend (who I welcomed into my home) went into my purse and got my bank information. I didn't realize that people would actually have the nerve to do that. I guess maybe that is where I am naive being from a small town and all, but I also think if it's not yours DON'T TOUCH IT! I have now found out who my real friends are and I am so thankful for them.
Elder David B Haight of the Quorom of the 12 Apostles said in the Ensign back in November of 1987 said:"The devastation that comes to the families and loved ones of those convicted of crimes such as stealing, fraud, misrepresentation, child abuse, sexual transgression, or other serious crimes is immeasurable. So many sorrows, heartaches, and even broken homes result from a false belief that people can set their own rules and do what they want to do as long as they don’t get caught.
Individuals may deceive and even go undetected or unpunished, but they will not escape the judgments of a just God. No man can disobey the word of God and not suffer for so doing. No sin, however secret, can escape retribution and the judgment that follows such transgression."
The past few days since the incident, friends of this person have talked to me and told me to just be careful with what decision I make because it will determine the future of this person. And they tell me that this person could go to jail and I need to really think about that. Do they not think that this has affected me in any way? Nobody MADE them take my stuff. That was his choice! Everybody has their free agency and he made that choice to steal my stuff and now he needs to be accountable for his choice.

I didn't forget!
I know this is late but I want to tell my parents Happy Anniversary. I called them on their anniversary and told them so I didn't forget. They have been married for 32 years! They are such a good example of what a marriage should be. They are best friends and such a good support to each other. I don't know how they have put up with each other for that long :) I'm glad you guys were able to go out to dinner, sorry I had to interrupt with the phone calls but I'm glad you guys are such a support to me. I love you guys so much!
