I know your birthday was yesterday! But I got to spend the weekend with you! I hope you had a good birthday! I know you liked your birthday party! You made me an aunt! You are growing up so much! I can't believe you are 8 and you are able to be baptised! I remember the day you were born (your dad made fun of me almost all day because my shoe broke, but I remember waiting so impatiently to see my new niece). You have grown up to be such a pretty girl! You are such a big help to your parents, and Kayden and Koy just love you! I was just laughing when Kayden wanted to play with you on Saturday and you went into your room and he was sitting outside the room and he kept saying "but I want to come in!" We all love you so much!! I am here at work so I dont have a picture to put up of you, so I will do that when I get home. I love you so much! I am glad you just love your Hannah Montana stuff I got you! :)

Now you're in the know! :)
I know it's been a while since I have posted! I have been so busy with work...
I had such a good Easter! I was able to go down to EC and spend time with the family. Barrett and Chantel were so nice and picked me up on their way through and let me ride down with them. I worked that day (Good Friday) so I was SOO tired and I was so glad that I didn't have to drive down so I thought I would be able to sleep all the way down but Morgan let me know that was NOT going to happen! I fell asleep not long after we were on the road and I started waking up and she said "Nicky, you can't sleep on the ride down!" But I was able to sneak a nap in here and there. But I sure did get Max and Morgan laughing so hard when I started stealing their blankies. Being the coolest Aunt Nicky around, I colored Easter eggs with the kids (I tried to keep Koy from drinking the dye). We had some pretty colorful eggs (we had pink, purple, green, green, green and anything Max could reach). Saturday was our annual desert day! :) If you are from EC, you know all about being on the desert the Saturday before Easter. We rolled our easter eggs and played in the dirt. It was a lot of fun! I got a REALLY good microdermabrasion clean when I got home :) little sand covering my face and a good shower... Cheapest facial I'll ever have!
My parents bought the grandkids kites. We went down to the school to fly them after the desert and the kids loved them! Even though they were the cheap kites and 2 of them broke, it was really fun to watch the kids fly the kites (even though the "big kids" enjoyed them too).
At work, I have been given the opportunity (if that is what you want to call it) to have more responsibility. I can now help resolve the superviser questions (discrepancies in our queue) and I have been asked to do some training. AND, I got a big cubicle! Ok, I actually GOT a cubicle! :) WITH WALLS!!!! So I have pics of all the nieces and nephews in the cubicle now.. I also was asked to do a project for our SOP (our "bible" as we refer to it) on the cancers that we refer to frequently. These responsibilities really have been an eye opening to me and have really given me a lot to look at with my job. I LOVE MY JOB! I love the whole concept of my job. If you don't know about my job, PLEASE look at the website.. http://www.myriad.com/ My job keeps me busy, but I just love it! Yes I have my complaints, but I just love my job!
I have still been getting my earaches in that right ear. I went to the dr yesterday and they can't find anything wrong. So they are sending me to an ENT. Since I have had this pain since January and I have been on and off antibiotics, the antibiotics have been causing a lot of stress on my body. I have had to go to a GI dr. On Tuesday, I have to go in and have a procedure done to try and get answers (if you know what I mean). So when I went into the dr yesterday, I told them NO ANTIBIOTICS!!! So I go to an ENT on the 21st of this month.. I just want answers!!! :)

I thought that quote went really good with this picture. Here is Barrett out on the desert at easter. He put on the kid helmet because Morgan brought it to him. I looked over at him and his face was all squooshed. And when he took it off, he said he couldn't hear much! And this guy is supposed to be a dr and you want me to trust him? LOL... LOVE YA BARRETT!!!!
