Happy Birthday Barrett
Happy Birthday Barrett! Nancy posted some memories that she has of you. But that's not the memory that I have of you. I remember sharing a room with you with our AWESOME wallpaper! Or fighting every Sunday of what show we were going to watch and we almost always had golf going on 1 tv in the house. We could watch tv after church but we had to change our clothes first. You would start undressing in the car so you were halfway there by the time we hit the house. And you would stick your feet in those orange bags that the newspaper would come in and then you would eat them! :)
You are such a great big brother and such a good example! I couldn't understand why you got all the smarts in the family. It wasn't fair! I have always admired how you have done so well in school and how you have accomplished your dream of being a doctor. Just no more playing statue of liberty and getting ashes in your eyes! :)
I hope you have a great birthday Barrett! Don't have too much fun!

Happy Fathers Day
I hope everyone had a good Fathers Day! It has been a while since I wrote, I can't believe it's been THAT long! I called dad first thing this morning. My dad is such a great guy! I hope that everyone knows that! :) My dad would give up anything for his kids and people know that. My parents brought up the blue truck for me on Friday because we had to take my car back in to the shop yesterday. Thank you for letting me borrow the truck! You guys didn't have to bring it up for me, you could have said TOUGH but being the great parents you are, you did. I also got to spend time with them Friday and we went out to Tooele for a wedding reception (my cousins sons wedding reception).
I also called Grandpa Rue this morning and talked to him and told him Happy Fathers Day. I am so glad that he is doing so much better. He was so excited to tell me that he is walking by himself and he does so much by himself.
I hope my brother and brother in law had a good Fathers Day! They do such much!
I am so glad I got to spend time with Nancy and Ty when they were here. I was able to get time off work to pick them up at the airport with my parents. Then we had dinner at the Braza Grill. And then the little water baby that Tyler is, spent hours at the pool. My gosh, he LOVES the water! He got to the point where he would jump in the pool to Nancy but Grandpa had to count to 3. He had us laughing so hard. Then the next day we met up with Tammy and the kids and went to The Living Aquarium. That place is pretty cool to see all the fish. I love my nieces and nephews but wow, they can wear me out! Then that next Wednesday we were able to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. That is a very pretty temple. Ty walked the entire temple! Then Friday night after work I met Nancy down at the Browns and spent a few hours with her and Tyler. It really makes me miss them a lot! I really wish they live closer!
Last week I had to take my car in to the shop because it was having a problem when I would put it in drive, it's like it wouldn't detect the gear. I guess the Suzuki's have been having this problem. So they got it in and had it fixed in a few hours. It was just a sensor problem. Well, this past week I started having the same problem but this time it was when I would put it in reverse. I called West Valley Suzuki and they said I could bring it back in and they would run codes and see what was going on. So my fabulous friend Papa picked me up from WVS yesterday morning. No codes were pulling up this time and the check engine light wasn't on so now they have to get Suzuki involved. I say fix it and write it off since it's never happened before! :)
I hope everyone had a good Fathers Day. It's now officially Summer! So let's stop with the rain and bring on the SUN!! :)
